If you drink way too much, you could be sick for a few days.
I've been known to lose a pound or two when I get sick. Wine is NOT my friend!

It won't reduce weight, but can be beneficial. I wouldn't worry about weight gain from drinking it. Most wine contains less than 100 calories a glass.

Depends on the person I guess. For most the Alacholics like myself I've heard the same stories. Everyday drinking for years at a time will cause you to loose body mass and pertrude your veins. So overtime I would say you'll loose weight if you drink everyday like myself but a drink a few nights a week will not show any reduced weight.

Actually drinking any liquor hinders the loss of weight. You won't hurt a diet too badly if you have some red wine with a meal every so often.

Alcohol is notoriously high in calories. It can cause you to gain, hon - not lose.
Peace.
