.hes popular and im really shy im not good with talking to people. i cant just approach him. ive tried to talk to him but i end up runnning away. how can i aaproach him ?

Just be cool and calm.
What we normally do in this situation is think negative.
Before even starting we think of loosing.
Dont push the panic button. Take the guy as a person rather than a guy(just like the way you talk to a girl ).
As many of us have suggested you try to make common friends or friends who can convey your feelings. Try giving little hints to him that you are interested. Like give a little smile when he or you pass by. Get his total info . Know his expertise and try to ask a question regarding that to him.
It should seem normal and as you will have talking terms with him after this, you will start feeling comfortable for sure from there on.

pretend he's ugly or he's got a bag over his head while you talk to him. try to make eye contact. don't stare blankly at the ground or the sky because guys get a little annoyed by that. when you approach him, come up from behind him when he doesnt see you and give him a little bump. then say "hey what's up" let the convo carry from there. i know that when people have a crush on somebody, they become all nervous and their minds go blank. just try to act as normal as possible

You got to suck it up and talk to the guy. You can't live your whole life being shy, just think to yourself this is a good life changing experience even if the rejection crushes your youth. In future you'd be a better person when comes dealing with love.
