1 week before. you need time to preview what you have gone over in the semester. and also you need time for the studying itself. study about 1 hour a night for 3-4 nights in a row for one class

In High School, I used to study only the day before any exam (paying attention to the class used to be enough). But once at the U, I had to start the very same day I had each class, or I failed.

it depends on how familiar you are with the testing material and how hard the test is.....when i was in high school.....i study for quizes right on the test day and mid-terms a week before. hope this helps
