Since I'm assumng that everyone posting here has already seen it, there's no need to retell the story line, but the more details about YOUR experience, the better. How did you feel? Did you cry? Laugh? At what and why?

For me, the most gut-wrenching scene (I cried like a baby) was at the end when Elphaba "melted" and Glinda clutched the pointed hat to her chest and wept over it, saying, "Oh Elphie!"

Someone get me a kleenex!

Amazing. Both the musical and the book. The musical is a bit lighter than the book but still all there.
My impression? Well, I think it was a great story. It's a different point of view in which you really feel sorry for the "wicked witch". I think that what Elphaba meant to do about the treatment of "Animals" was a great thought, but the way it ended up was wrong. In the end you still do feel sorry for her.

I don't think it's possible to hate this, even if musicals aren't your thing in the first place. It's got humor and something anyone can relate to, both youth and adults. I think I relate to many characters, actually. Elphaba is the easiest for me and most anyone to relate to just because of her situation and we have all felt that something was wrong and whether or not to do anything about it. That's when I sometimes feel like G(a)linda and not doing anything. But I also feel like Elphaba in my past about self-consciousness.

My favorite song would be One Short Day and Defying Gravity. No particular reason, but I enjoy singing them and they get stuck in my head easily!

My experience was amazing! I couldn't stop coming back for more (3 times, that's it, I promise). Everything was so compelling. The costumes were gorgeous, the backdrops and scenery were spectacular, and the stage presence of Idina and Kristen was perfect. Of course I cried, I think everyone in the audience did!! I love the dialogue between Elphaba and Fiyero, specifically "It's not lying, it's looking at things another way", about Elphaba's beauty. That pulls my heart stings, why? No clue. But I love the relationship between them, and the fact that he likes her as she is, not “Galinda-fied”. LOL. That didn't make me cry, but it made me go "Awww...". That part you mentioned was probably one of the sadest things I have ever seen - as you put it - gutwrenching. Tear, tear. The lyrics "Because I knew you, I have been changed for good" get me everytime. I also cried at the end when it was all over just because I was sad to see it end (how pitiful). There are little things throughout the whole musical that made me chuckle and I'd have to see it yet another time to really remember/re-live it.

I. LOVE. WICKED.

I'm a true Elphaba @ heart lol. It mad e me empowered to rise above, I saw the tour in Tampa...I have loved the music since the beginning...I cried when the lights when down nad the show started..So much anticipation had built up. My favorite song is For Good, the duet sung between Elphie and Galinda/Glinda. The song is so moving, and it remids me of relations ships in my life. I am touched by both of them, The show was more than i could have ever planned, and I thought that fyero was hot, and I also liked Dancing through life..When ever it comes on I dance around and have soo much fun..I'm so glad that there are other wicked fans out there..Because of this show I couldn't be happier.

I loved it. One of my favorite aspects of the show was the amazing set. From the bubble to the backdrops, everything was so high-tech and amazing! I saw it on opening night in Detroit, so there were a few technical faults, but the cast covered them beautifully and overall it was amazing! Two weeks from tonight I'm seeing it in London too! I'm SO excited!
