Roy Jones haters Roy wasnt just hype ask Bernard hopkins and James Toney (future hall of famers) if it was hype when they fought Jones. Griffen ,Hill,& John Riuz looked like amuter fighters agianst Roy remeber Roy came in at 154 (welter weight) won worlld titles at 160 ,168(3)titles ,175 (7)titles 200 heavyweight in his prime he beat every one in front of him give him his respect .

As for today

Mayweather super welter wieght eventhought he has ducked some fights his resume is more impressive
37-0 quality wins over *Corrales, *Castillo twice,Gatti,Corrley

next
Manny paciqiao feather weight
43-3 quailty wins marquez , *antiono berrara, and 2-1 verse *morales

winky wright 51-3 middle wieght
quartay,*trinadad,*mosley twice

berrara 63-3 feather wieght
*morales twice , prince naseem hameed, juarez, frietas, jonny tapia ,pualia alya, kevin kelly

the winner of paciqio- berra 2 has a strong pond for pond
case even if mayweather beats de la hoya

and Miguel Cotto 29-0 welter weight
pond for pond is a joke .great young prospect exellent body puncher. power in both hands but both of his only real fights. A good Demarcus corrley ,and his next fight Zab juda have already been beaten by Mayweather

a fight with Mayweather is something i look forward to 2 years from now he might have a case

Pacquiao is the best and most exciting fighter at the moment in my opinion. Also Joe Calzaghe deserves a mention the longest regining current world champion and still unbeaten he just needs to get the big name fights to prove himself.

Currently, it has to be Manny Pacquiao. He has more quality opponents last year than Floyd Mayweather. He beat two former world champions last year -- Erik Morales (two times, who is also a future Hall of Famer) and Oscar Larios.

In my opinion Manny Pacquiao is the best pound for pound and i think his closest challenger for that title at the moment may well be Rafael Marquez.

As for Mayweather Jr as Public Enemy once said Dont believe the hype.

Frank D is right! Mayweather is all about hype just like Roy Jones. They are build up for promo but can never live up to expectations until a true champion gives them a break. Tarver gave Jones his biggest payday and Oscar gave Mayweather, Quartey, Vargas, Whittaker, Camacho, their biggest payday. PD4PD is Oscar, Trinidad, Barrera, PacMan, resp...

Floyd Mayweather. After he takes De La Hoya apart in May it won't be a question anymore.

If Floyd gets by Oscar, then it's Mayweather hands down. As of now, few if any are better, but with DeLa Hoya's scalp on his belt, there is no argument.

Mayweather. He is so good and doesnt go out with the intent to knock out his opponent everytime which he could. He doesn't get hit but he delivers punishment. He toys with his opponents.

most people would easily say mayweather. the truth is Manny pacqiuo. he is demolishing his opposition(ie morales). don't get me wrong Mayweather is great, but he is not dominating to the extent that manny is.
