i just started college and am working on a degree in political science. i also plan on taking EMT classes in hope of getting a job as an EMT. i am told i am very fit, but i disagree with this. i take a medication every 2 weeks and will take it for the rest of my life.
does it sound like i may have a chance?

The selection process is both competitive and lengthy. You would have to undergo a length background investigation, everyone you've known or been in contact with during the past 10 years would be interviewed; even people you wouldn't suspect such as neighboors and roomates.
Hopefully you don't have anything in your past that would disqualify you such as traffic tickets or anything like that. If you made it to through the background investigation, you would have to undergo a physical, a polyograph test, and a physchological evaluation. All of which are stressful.
I don't know if your medical situation would disqualify you, that is something you can ask a doctor or thier human resource office. My advice to you is to keep your nose squeaky clean. And definately make sure you have a really good credit score, believe it or not your finacial business gets taken into account too. Best of luck.

It's only hard if you can't handle tough situations... The fact that you take medication might disqualify you... depending upon what the meds are for ! Getting accepted is the hardest part.... if you qualify but don't get accepted, keep trying... try for the next class... It really helps if you are fluent in more than just English ! Good luck and maybe one day you'll make it through to Quantico !

It is hard to be a agent, there are most likley 1000 applications for any one opening. The best degrees for them are computer degrees, accounting (CPA), law degrees.
