Some previous answers referred to CPR. Teachers in most districts are required to be current in CPR, but that's not what you do if someone is knocked unconscious, for heaven's sake! CPR is done if you cannot detect circulation (pulse) or breathing. If someone's knocked unconscious from being knocked in the head, it is extremely unlikely that they will suffer cardiac and respiratory arrest - and if they did, they are critically injured. In that case, 9-1-1 needs to be called immediately and CPR needs to be continued until the paramedics arrive.
If a student gets hit in the head and loses consciousness, even if just for a moment, they need to be seen by a doctor. PE teachers usually have had training to help determine if someone has a concussion, which can often occur without a loss of consciousness. But no one, even a doctor, can tell with certainty if there is a brain injury without running tests which need to be done in a hospital setting. If a student is unconscious for more than just a moment, if there is bleeding from the ears or evidence of a neck or back injury, 9-1-1 should be called. Any teacher or administrator that does not do so is irresponsible and is running the risk of a lawsuit.

Depends upon the school the teacher graduated from and what type of training they have had since. When I was in school I had to complete both of The Red Cross first aid and CPR/ adult and child before I could get my teaching certificate. Not all schools require this so some system provide the training as professional development.

Most PE teachers are certified in first aid, so I expect they would know how to help you. There's also your school clinic.
