Humor is my best tip for relaxation. Even on the most stressful of days I can always log on to a funny website to help me relax. Your body can't be both tense and laughing at the same time.

You didn't say what activity or environment is stressing you out. If it's work, take a quick break to read Dilbert online, or go to some other funny website; or if you're able to, go outside and take a short walk while breathing deeply.

I walk often, but not just for exercise, but because walking forces you to slow down and breathe, and notice things like trees and landscapes; it just works to calm you down.

Yoga works for me. If you don't have time for that, take a moment to deep breath and look at why you're having a bad day. Make a concious decision to not let things get to you for the rest of the day. Sometimes that's not easy and sometimes people just get in a bad mood and that's the way it is for the day.
If at all possible, take a walk. Even a quick 10 minute walk around the block will release endorphines and probably lift your mood at leaste a little bit.

Close your eyes and take ten deep breaths. Say to yourself," I am at peace and I love fuzzy slippers." Or take a walk and listen to the birds. Peace
