I agree. Where ever there is a mystery, the insecure people of the world will refuse to actually learn about it, but instead make fun of it.
They are laughing because they actually feel very uncomfortable and cannot understand that the actions of a few are not a reflection of an entire group of people. So they mock the others because it makes them feel more in control and gives them a false sense of security. They are embarrassed, so they make Muslims sound like evil incarnate.
If possible, just ignore those idiots. There are many more non-Muslims who understand and sympathize with the situation you find yourself in.
People like that don't even deserve being the center of a discussion. Just ignore them, if you can.

Well, as stupidity has yet to be very measurable on any kind of a reliable scale, allow me to opine that it is at least as stupid as when people condemn Jews for having condemned Jesus to die on the Cross.
I wonder how many of them claim to belong to any of the many non-catholic denominations of Christianity, many of which are and were and have been considered Islamic for as long as there has been a Quran, like members of the Coptic denomination.

A twisted belief created by a man deserves to be mocked. You laugh when you are on the wrong side of logic. Stupid? God never created any religion.

Well I don't think it's anything to laugh about, just allow them to see what you see, beauty is in the eye of the beholder so don't act as only you hold the keys to it.
Find something else to condemn and ridicule.
You come across as an ignorant man, who needs to keep his ignorance out of this subject and away from the public in general.

Everyone has a religious preference . . . whether it's to believe in God or not. I think it's fascinating to learn about other religions and how people worship in different ways. Islam itself, is not a 'bad' religion. It's the extremists that are causing some people to look unfavorably upon the Islamic religion.

I don't mock it I just dont subscribe to your way of thinking and I have studied it. whats with the whole 72 virgins thing, I would much rather have 72 slutty chicks. but seriously I do know in heaven women will still be equal to man thats why God took the rib from Adams side not his sternum in front not his tail bone or something else 10 steps back but from the side. so that women will be equal to man.

Actually, it would appear that many people seem to know an awful lot MORE about the true nature of islam than its practitioners (especially those who demand the "right" to re-write history and to totally ignore all of the hatred, violence and intolerance in their own "holy" book).

What makes me laugh is that you know the ugliness of so much of islam and yet you revere it. How stupid is that?

It is said that Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Have you ever gone to a Christian church heard the sermon, listen to the organ music and choir and felt the presence of the Lord. I am a Christian and have a copy of the Koran and have read it. The Bible and contents are truly beautiful
