Yes, it is annoying, and ends all possibility of conversation. Thank you for asking.

Lol!!! Now that I think about it, it seems pretty rude to tell someone they're going to die, and burn, and rot away in hell. I don't really know what my views are, I think I'm mostly atheist but I'm not sure. So I've never been told I'm going to burn in hell...I always get.."Don't worry, you'll see the light someday." or..."Yeah, we're all going to rot in hell!" It would probably annoy me a little, but really...if someone is a true atheist they probably wouldn't care, they'de just say "Oh shutup, there's no such thing as hell!"

I'm not an atheist...
But, when I went to church as a Christian, they would still tell me I was going to hell. So much for my self-esteem when my own teammates are kicking me off the team....
I believe you are right about thinking they are better than everyone else. (Well, some think that way, not all.)

Why is your question posed only to atheists?
Christian theology has declared for over 2000 years that all non-Christians will be banished to hell when they die, not just atheists.
I am not an atheist, so maybe I should not have responded to this question at all.

I dont generally give a damn what ppl say to me about religion. As long as I know I am a good person.. I dont go around killing ppl and mistreating others then I'm sure I will be treated with respect right back. What goes a round comes around.. remember that!

Christian don't think they are better.Christians are forgiven, nothing more nothing less.
Please don't come off sounding like Christians are evil.If you are not warning the sinner of his wicked ways ,then you will be guilty of his blood.
Jesus said warn them.We do,with love.
What are you doing to see souls saved?
I don't tell people they are going to hell unless they ask.If you don't want the truth ,don't ask.
Cute litte story about the dogs, that does work on some dogs.<><

Yes, it annoys me a lot. Some Christians act like that, I agree.

Yes. I don't like it at all
Those Christians are the people who preach the most and often tell people how to live their lives and eventually get thrown into jails for some bloody reasons

I don't hate anything, I leave that to the so-called Christians who seem to do enough hating for everyone.

I have to agree with you. I had an experience early on after I was saved where GOD showed me what he wanted me to do.
We have four little dogs that are a bit hyper and one day we were outside in the front yard with the dogs and they decided to go running toward the highway in front of our house. I yelled loudly and three of them turned around and came back. The smallest kept going, she was ignoring me and still playing around headed straight for her death. I got her to look at me for a second and I sat down on the driveway cross legged, smiled at her and held my arms out. She came running back. GOD spoke to my heart that day. This is how he wants me to work with his flock. And he also let me know I was an idiot for letting the dogs run around in the yard when they were to young to know better.
Grace and Peace to you.

Would you want someone telling you you're going to suffer eternal damnation? Probably not.
I usually just laugh when someone says this, because I probably live a more "christian life" than he does.
