Legalizing it would be good. It's not bad like nicotine, Reefer Madness was made by the cig companies to keep weed from becoming more popular than tobacco. You'd be surprised how many people do weed.
People that are against it know nothing about the plant and its usefulness.

It's not fair that if I was born a couple hundred years ago I could pick any plant I want and do whatever I want with it, without having to worry about being put inside a prison by a bunch of old guys that decided they owned the earth and all the creatures on it, and that they could set rules for what we can and can not do.
Also, I always look on the bottom of people's lighters. If there is black goo in the bottom corners of the lighters then you can ask them where to find weed. Otherwise I wouldn't take a risk like that with co-workers or people you don't know.
edit: There is a stupid guy up there that said weed was not safer than alcohol, but he was wrong. Nobody has ever died from smoking weed. On the other hand, alcohol is poison and kills lots of people. I thought we all knew that, but i guess one guy didn't...

I wish it were legal - when I was pregnant the doctors at the hospital actually suggested it (I was throwing up 30 to 50 times a day), my son and I would probably have died without it. If it was legal we could enjoy it when we have kids without fear, too, I hate alcohol, but love to sit back and smoke a bowl... I miss it.
the shadow - where did you do this "research", it must have been 1950's anti-marijuana propaganda films, eh? Anybody who HAS done research knows you're full of it!

hey shadows know all, you are absolutely retarded, and yea that research could be real only i am pretty sure you pulled it straight out of your ***......marijuana is no where near as dangerous as cigarettes are. as well as alcohol, both of them together kill more than 500,000 times the amount of people weed does, so how is it more dangerous?you are dumb, and your research is even dumber. which altogether makes you look just flat out stupid. and as for your question you just gotta find a dealer somewhere, and it needs to be legalized for more reasons than i care to type with basically no reasons why it should be kept illegal.

Do you really believe all that crap or are you just justifying it because you want to smoke it?
Frankly, there are enough stupid-heads in this world that we don't need more numb-brains around. Pot makes you paranoid, slows down your reflexes and frankly, I've watched many people just go brain dead on the stuff and then they turn to stronger stuff once they're "immune" to the effects of pot.
Most people who smoke pot are addicts. If it isn't pot it will be beer or hash or cocaine or something else.
Legalizing it isn't going to do much for society other than stupify it some more.

It has already started in the US. Some of the states and have already decriminalized it. I think the US government should legalize it and tax the hell out of it. They could use the taxes to afford every American free health care. They would also save allot of money in legal proceedings and incarceration of people charged with it.

Well, the only reason I would be in favor of having it leagalized is, because the government has no right to tell me what to do with my body, as long as it ain't affecting nobody else.

It can have the same type of effects as that can... I have done my research on this.. So I know... But if you do wanna do it again... Ask around your school...
