Do you tell your mom what you like and what you want? Parents aren't mind readers although sometimes I wish we were. Just let her know how you feel.

you're in a hard situation.

there might be some favoritism. it is not suppose to be that way. talk to her and tell her how you feel. tell your mom that you are a family and everyone should be equal.

but at the same time, dude: dont let this affect u. you should be mature in understanding. there's always a reason. but make sure that you voice out your concern too.

You need to tell your mom this, exactly these words, let her know how you feel & things will change. You tell her that if she's going to give your sister these expensive gifts, then you deserve just the same. I think your mom just likes shopping for her because it's fun to shop for daughters, I'm sure she loves you both the same, at times it's hard to pick out gift for boys, kinda like it's hard for boys to pick out gifts for girls.

Hello fellow Alex!
Seriously talk to your mother and tell her that you feel like your being treated unequally. That should fix everything.

Also it girls tend to get spoiled by their parents more often than guys..

Goodluck!

It's probably because she knows what girls like better. Tell your mom what you want next time.

I love my children equally, and I usually ask them what they want or need. Does your mom ask you or your sister?

Tell her what's on your mind; she may think you don't care about expensive item.

your mom probably gave it to her because she made it clear it's what she wanted....just make up your mind on what you want to and let your parents know it so they can get it to you...if it's within reason of course.
