I just started working at Whataburger on Wednesday, so I'm flat broke till next Monday. :( I get 50% discount, but I can't purchase anything! Sucks, huh? Can I get food deducted from my paycheck just until I get it on Monday? Otherwise, I'm there from 9am to 5 pm. without eating.

Start packing your lunch. Most places won't allow you to do something like that. While it wouldn't hurt to ask, the chances of the answer being yes, are slim.

I was thinking you could take a lunch. I would just ask the manager/supervisor about the deduct thing. Some bosses have been screwed by employees who have $ charged to their check, then they quit. So Good luck with that.

Do you have any food you can pack a lunch and take with you? I used to do that at McDonald's just because I got so tired of the food. They don't care if you bring food in usually. Good luck!
