My boyfriend is really sweet and polite, but he's Spanish and suffers some speech problems so he doesn't like reading in front of people. My parents said if I ever did become serieous with him I'd need to think things through, because most likely he's not going to college and I am. His family and him are very close and they don't have a lot of $$$ but that doesn't bother me and my boyfriend told me that his family would move in with him because of these things, but you can't just stop loving someone because my parents said I need to have higher standards because our backrounds are different, heck I'm white and he's hispanic and we didn't let that get in the way and I'm not about to start now because our families are totally opposite. Do you think I'm doing the right thing?

Well,I guess Kristen.
If that's what they need,
that's what they get.
Still try to learn Spanish
and mail him letters in Spanish
with English translations for that.
If you make translations for him
he can learn our language as well
as maintain his so, he'll love that!
Buenos Suerte/Good luck,
