My personaly favorite is "Our sport is your sport's punishment." There are plenty out there and they all make me laugh.

Here are my favorites: (in order)
1) How does my butt look like from back there?
2) Run hard or walk home.
3) You better read fast because I'm leaving you behind.
4) If you can read this, you should give up now.
5) Cross-country runners do it in the woods.
6) Cross country is about where you are going, and who you left behind.
7) Distance runners do it longer and harder.
8) I run because I like to; I win because I have to.

Since you're a girl (or woman?), here's a couple that you might like:
1) Girl's Cross Country: you don't need balls to do it.
2) We're the fast girls your mother warned you about.

My favorite (and the one that was on my team's shirts last year) is "Running is my lover."

1.Cross-country. Finally a good use for golf courses.
2. Cross Country isn't for everyone, only those weirdos who like to run through the woods in their underwear!
3. You pass out before you die...(on our varsity shirts this year :))
4. Some people don't have the guts for distance racing. The polite term for them is sprinters.
5. Warning: Our Increased Speed may cause blurred vision (and on the t-shirt, the words were all blurry, so it gave me a headache whenever I looked at it)
6. Have you noticed I can't read the back of your shirt?
7. Track is classical music, while cross country is rock and roll.
I can't find my list right now, but this website http://www.alghs.k12.wi.us/high_school/athletics/Cross%20Country/running_quotes.htm has a LOT Of quotes about distance running, and some motivational ones that could apply to running as well. I can't wait until next fall-I want XC to start up again! Track is just...track. XC is...so much better than track.
