Do you understand? We evolve in different directions with different Goals from an atheist but we are alike more than unlike. Which only enriches Grace and Salvation all the more for me, but, I see more and more that I am no different.

The only difference in a man is the difference God makes.

If being Christian doesn't make one a better person and a Christian is no better than an Atheist then what use is there in being a Christian except to ease ones fear of death. Especially when that fear would not have existed at all if one hadn't believed the claims that Christianity has made about an afterlife that it cannot prove to exist. It seems to me that there is more benefit for being Atheist. One doesn't have to believe in things that can't be proven to be factual, such as religious dogma, thereby eliminating fear, guilt, and a considerable amount of judgment among other things.

When you are born again you still have your flesh to contend with. When someone murdered another human being in Paul's day the dead body was strapped to the murderer and eventually the murderer would succumb to disease from the decaying body and die. The difference between a believer and an atheist is that the atheist is going to live death forever, unless he repents and is born again, because he lives according to the dead spiritual body he's got, and a believer has everlasting life because he lives in the humble state of constant repentance because he knows his flesh, the dead body, will take him to hell if he doesn't.

That's probably the most open-minded statement from a believer that I've heard on this board.

People are people, and it's our choices that make us different. You choose to believe in (I suspect) the Christian God. Atheists believe in no god, and I, a Pagan believe in many.

Other than that, we're all human, with our own sets of morals, trials and conditions. Thanks for the truth.

Than the only answer for you can be that there must be more than one incarnation on Earth. Evolution means experience, the more you experience in the physical medium they more you evolve in the spiritual.

Loving God doesn't take away our humanity. Other than knowing Him there is no difference, we are both human and fallible.

WELL the differance is that atheists are not willing to submit to anything and we are willing to submit to the authority of CHRIST IN OUR LIVES
