Potty Power does help! Also, be patient. My daughter is three, and is just now going without diapers during the day. I was starting to think that she would never get it down, and then one day it just seemed to click. I did tell her that she had to use the potty if she wanted to go to school. - This is something that she really wants to do.

You should be a proud Mommy too! She has reached a milestone just not the one most of us parents look forward to. She is showing awareness and is a step away from identifying that "need to go potty" feeling. Try not to make an issue, just take her to the bathroom after each of these episodes so that she associates that area with that bodily function. She will do this in her own time and it's the best way to teach her without causing an issue and problems further down the line. My husband and I always left the door open and our son would wander in (he does respect our privacy now and vice-verse) and one day he copied Daddy, that was that! There's only one thing worse than potty training - it's when they want to go visit every bathroom in every shop once they are trained!!!!

i have a daughter who is 7 and they are easier to train than boys. whenever you go to the bathroom take her with you. when she i watching her favorite movie, show, or cartoon, take the pot in the room where she watches tv. whenever you guys are just sitting around, go to the bathroom even you dont have to use it. not only that put her on a schedule of every 10 to 15 mins. thats the first thing you should let her do in the morning and the last thing before she goes to bed, potty! after she drinks, she go at least 13 mins after. maybe sooner depends on her. whenever she says ahe has to go be sure to take her even if she sits a few mins, thats very important too.

These two things worked with the kids I potty trained....
Put a diaper on baby doll and show the baby taking off the diaper to go pee or poo. Clap and say hooray when the baby is "done".
Or buy cute colorful panties or boxers and say "If you use the toilet you can wear these pretty panties!"
Good luck!

My nephews learned from a movie I rented from our public library. It is Called "potty power" and it has the girl from jay jay the jet plane as the star. It is very interactive, explains a lot, and gets the kids really excited and motivated. There are tons of little helpfulhints and little songs that they enjoy. If you can find it, it will work like a charm.

not saying your child is a dog ut it is just like training a dog. Take her to the bathroom about after meal twice on the toilet. Hopefully she will learn to understand this new concept of sing the bathroom on the toilet. She will learn eventually but it takes patience.

You can always buy her , her own toilet seat and put it in the bathroom next to the big one. and see if that works, you can tell her she has her own just for her.
