dogs r great pets because they dont judge u. u can look at them and they fill ur heart with joy. they love u unconditionally, no matter what a person looks like or how popular they r. and they do this all for only two things, one a big bowl of food a few times a day and two a warm place to sleep at night. y wouldnt anyone want a dog, especially children. dogs help children with self esteem issues. when i was little i got made fun of because i was a huge nerd, but after i got my dog Chase i always looked forward to school cuz i could brag to people that i had a dog. dogs make u feel good inside. they love u. and they will always be there for u. a dog is man's best friend that is how it has always been and that is how it will always be

Everyday I do the same thing. I go to work, go home, and get other things done. But you know who is the first one to greet me with a happy yapping? My dog.
Every where I go, I take her with me (except work and school, I would if I could). It crushes my heart to see my dog's reaction on her face when she knows I'm leaving the house (probably where the 'sad puppy face' thing came from). She can also tell if I'm upset, happy, sad, or angry. This tells me that she is aware and capable of caring and loving me. Most importantly, this also tells me that dogs are capable of feeling the same things we feel. Also, dogs are very smart. Some dogs are smarter than some humans. Hahahah! Just kidding, kids. =)
Dog's are great companions because they'll always be happy as long as you are around. A simple look from you and they'll be deliriously wagging their tail. They're intelligent, loving creatures who deserve nothing more than our respect and love because simply put, they are the most adorable companion on earth who will never leave your side.

The above, she is so right but they also are like humans in that they all have their own unique character and traits. I have two weims. Last night my male was pacing the floor and all morning too and lo and behold my female gave birth to their 9( so far) beautiful pups today. It was like watching an expectant Father. He was so excited when he heard the little cries and he acted like he was a proud poppa who was waiting for his cigar.

Because they don't ask for much - just a little food and water and mainly love and they will give you 100 x 100 times more back and they ask for nothing in return just their food and water

Because they are loyal and love you no matter what. They have great personalities, learn really fast and listen better than kids do.
