The best way would be to ask him. That way you are being upfront and honest. You aren't sneaking around his stuff or computer, or quizzing his friends for info. just ask for honesty and you will love him either way.

Why do you think your brother is gay? does he display feminine characteristics or has he hit on you? does he have all girl friends and never had a 'girlfriend'. of course the best way to find out is to ask but you do not want to offend him or have him feel that you are judging him. how would you feel if he was gay? would it change your relationship with him? these are just some things to think about. if you dont want to ask then bring up the topic about being gay and see what he says and watch his body language during the convo. just remember to be open in case he 'comes out'
