at my school dance my friend kept trying 2 make this guy that i sorta like 2 ask me out. cuz she said that he said that he liked me. so i spent a lot of time talking 2 him trying 2 figure out a way 2 convince my friends that we're just friends. so later at school another girl thats really mean must of saw us talking and then spread the rumor that i was dancing w/ sum guy. and she told like the most popular ppl in the 6th grade that will tell everybody. and then like 20 min ago i was iming one of my friends who was told this rumor. and she even said that at her soccer practice the parents were even talking about it. Pleez help!

You're in 6th grade, seriously, please relax.
Ignore rumors, they'll go away, believe me. If you don't react to them, then no one will care.
Rumors are stupid, people who are bored with their own lives do that.
I'm glad that at the young age of 15, I've realized that.
Who cares who you were dancing with or weren't dancing with, you know the real story.
The people who make up rumors won't be very liked in a couple of years so don't waste your time worrying about them.

Hon, just tell your friends the truth and then let it go. If they don't believe you, then maybe you should rethink your choice of friends.
If you keep acting like you don't care, no one else will either. Trust me...sixth grade rumours burn out fast and are usually exaggerated way out of proportion.
And anyway, what if you were dancing with "some guy?" I dance with multiple guys at dances and half of them are just my guy friends. It doesn't necessarily mean anything.

tell everyone the truth. or if ur mean and nasty spread a rumor about the other girl. OR you could go out w/ someone else and show everyone u arent dating that other guy!!!

Isolate yourself from people who spew it. It works wonders.
When I was a kid, I ran track and played with boys so I did not get into those things. Maybe you should take up a sport because it seems that you have too much time on your hands.
