Yes it is called the baptism of desire. That a non believer if his life shows a testament to love, (which theologically is God) and lives by his conscience (which theologically is the voice of God) then yes God is satisfied.

Very Good Question.
Yes, HE Does.
But, HE Wants Everybody to be Good Too.
The Goodness of GOD (GOD helping Anybody to be Good), leads you to Salvation (where You Come to Know GOD Personally).
You see, if People are Left on Their Own, they Usually get Wickeder and Wickeder, then GOD has to Flood the Earth. (HE won't use Water anymore.)
There comes a Point where a Person can get So Far Away from GOD that they will Never Turn Back to HIM. Sin will Take you Farther than you Want to Go.
GOD has to Try to Lead and Guide EveryBody to do Good so They will have a Chance to Get Saved.
FreeWill.
GOD Respects that in Human Beings.
Hope this helps.

if the gift is free then why are we expected to believe in him? i have this discussion with my husband all the time. hes done things in the past that would be considered a sin according to the bible and hes a christian. i have never really done anything wrong by bible standards as such, more or less just the things that society frowns upon that everyone does from time to time. so although i dont believe in god i still believe that if there is a heaven i will get there. i could go on forever about this but ima cut it short cause this kind of talk gets me all riled up

If you are asking if god whould care you must actuly care about him and possibly you belive in him deep down inside.
Being a good person will not help you. We have all comited sins....and if you do not ask for forgivness of those sins you will be sent to hell even though you may have been a good person. Beceause God made you a person he has you here for a reason.Mabey it is to spread his word by asking this queston or to just try with all your heart to do what he leads you to do. I hope you will come to belive in God because he is the only way you can be truly happy

I think God would be satisfied with good people. If I had children, even if they didn't like me for whatever reason, I'd be proud of them if they were good people who loved their fellow man. If God can't manage as much love as his creation, maybe he should worship us instead of the other way around.

Well, would YOU care if your child never acknowledged you in any way ... would you be satisfied if your child loved and cared about the welfare of their fellow man, even if they refused to speak a word to you, ever?

why would He? think about it, you're a good person by His standards, otherwise, you're a good person by your standards, which could mean anything.
so some could feel they were doing a good deed by ending an old person's life with good intentions, though the old person wanted to live. Or someone was nice to everyone except a certain kind of people; good by their standards. Or someone treats everyone equally but really hates everyone. good by theirs and others standards, for all they know....
thing is, if you reject God's Son, then you're not a good peson to Him. Would you consider a good person if they mocked, persecuted and killed your son?
so the answer is no. God wants us to know Him and He made it clear how to know Him and how to get to Heaven:
Jesus said "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes unto the Father except through me".

Which god are you referring to? There seem to be several gods competing for our moral cooperation and good works. I could care less if the gods are satisfied or not with me. I have about a four hour seminar for them to learn what they are doing wrong!!

What do you consider good?
Good by your definition? Good by God's?
What is God's Definition of good?
Do you really know?
Are you a good person? What a question, most of us believe that we are good people because we can look around and find someone that is far worse than we are. We can always point to the things that we think make us a good person.
But how good are we really? Dare we take this test and look at ourselves and see if we really are good? Hmmm.
If you are willing try this and see just how good a person you are.
The Good Person Test.
How will you do? Pass or fail?
Have you ever told a lie?
Doesn't matter how big or small, just a lie.
What does that make you? Before answering think about this, if I told you a lie what would you call me? A liar?
Have you ever stolen anything? Cost doesn't matter, a piece of gum, failed to give back an ink pen that you borrowed, anything.
What does that make you?
Jesus said, "You know the saying of old, you shall not commit adultery but I say that if look at someone to lust after them you have committed adultery in your heart.
Have you ever lusted?
Jesus said that hate is equal to murder.
Have you ever hated anyone?
See one day we all are going to stand before a Holy God on Judgment Day and he is going to judge us based on His Holy Law, the Ten Commandments. These are just 4 of them and how did you do? Guilty? I have broken all of these and more, what about you? How well will you do on Judgment Day?
If we break just one point of God's Law we are guilty of breaking all the law and Gods Wrath abides upon us all. Based on God's Law we are all guilty and all are deserving of punishment. But there is an out for us.
Jesus paid the price for each one of us, took on himself God's Wrath so we wouldn't have to face it on our own. Jesus was beaten, battered, bleed and died so we wouldn't have to face God's Wrath. He rose again so that we would life in his presence. Our crimes, His payment.
The real question is where will you stand on Judgment Day. Pay yourself or have it paid for you. Think about it.

If we are looking within the current structure of theistic belief... and maybe even... mostly in the context of Judeo-Christian belief and teachings, many could argue: No matter the good you perform in the world, no matter how much you care about the welfare of your fellow man, if you do not believe in God then you're doomed. God won't be satisfied with that. And this really comes from many false ideas we carry about God. It comes from a misconception and the belief in two great illusions: Seperation and God requires something. We are all seperate from everything; we are seperate from eachother and we are seperate from God. God is seperate from the universe, from Life, from Love, from Happiness, and from YOU. There are also many people, many of the same who believe they are seperate, who believe God requires something from everyone in order to be whole and complete--to be satisfied. And those people have created laws, wars, and debated for centuries claiming they knew what God required: Is it sacrifice (animal or human), are we to believe in a certain way (either that Jesus is the only son of God and he died for sins, or in Allah, or the Jewish God is correct and the Pagan gods aren't, or atheists and agnostics are wrong), do we need to perform good works and care about eachother for God to be happy?
I believe the answer comes out of the evolving paradigm, that We Are All One. It comes from the thinking that God is Everything, thus if God is Everything, then God needs nothing--let alone you believing in Him or doing any type of good deeds. I mean good and bad are relative anyways. It really is about what works and doesn't work, depending on what you seek to create. I believe in a truth that I think would stop a lot of wars, a lot of killing, and would end a lot of the sorrow we have: God requires nothing of you. You don't have to believe in God if you don't want to. You can care about others just the same. However, from a different shift in thought, if we are ONE with God, then believing in God is believing in YOUR SELF. And caring for others IS caring for yourself also, you are ONE.
God needs nothing at all from you--not even your belief in Him. God believes in You and IS the Love which surrounds you in every moment with no strings attached. For God so Loved the world that He sent His ONLY begotten Son (human consciousness) to save the world and He who believes in Him will have eternal Life. Within the Christian context, if we see it with a mature Spirit, we can say that to recognized Jesus as Christ we are recognizing our own Christ within and we can aspire to be and live by the Way He, and every Master has modeled. This is because as He said, "I and my Father are ONE." And this is True for us as well... God requires nothing from you so be at piece in knowing this and I hope it helps you.
