When our father died, my brother decided to wear some very tight revealing slacks to the funeral. He said he was expecting some hot women to show up(friends of his friends) so he decided to dress the part to get their attention. Do you think this was in bad taste?

Yes, it is bad taste, especially to say so straight out. He could just dress up and not say anything particular about it, then people would've thought he was perhaps not dressed quite appropriately but maybe he just didn't have anything else 'dressy', maybe it was that or ratty jeans. To just say straight out he was going to dress that way to catch 'hot women' at a funeral is quite inconsiderate.

Tell him he can dispose of the cucumber wrapped in tin foil. He must not be the brightest bulb in the batch if he was using your father's funeral as a singles hook-up event. Chance are, he is the butt of many jokes and didn't get a single phone number.

People deal with grief in all kinds of ways. I wouldn't worry too much about it. My guess is that the girls aren't really going to be scoping him out at a funeral.

I'm sorry for your loss.
