What does God look like to you?

Does he have form? If so, what does He/She look like?

Just curious to see the variety of responses possible.

In the various religions, historically, god or the gods and goddesses looked like the people in whose religions they existed as deities, including skin color, hair, etc. In some cases, the gods even dressed like the people of the particular area. It has been said that man created gods in his own image.

Salaam! I will answer personally, but can not agree with most. When I look up in the sky at night and not see any stars and just a void, I see allah. But it is nothing without thought that is granted by allah. HE looks like HIS word binding in the qu'ran. Sincerely. There are many lights that exist, but to me that was always the original. Genesis says that on the first day ilah created light. So, before that there was darkness. And to my acceptance, the first light was thought. But it has to be of allah and not satan. A good thought. If you were surrounded by darkness, would you even aknowledge it's existance. Would you even aknowledge that HE thinks and surrounds all of us at all times. And people say where id ilah come from? If it was noting but dark void, would you even aknowledge it's existance? Then from that comes many lights. many galaxies, universes, heavens, planets, moons, suns, stars, etc. All that still exists in this light that is hardly recognised. But in all due respect, ilah looks exactly like HIS word. HIS description is perfect in the qu'ran. PEACE!

To me it looks like a brilliant source of pure white light from afar, but when I am close to him I like to visualize him as a tall and old figure, very loving, wise and calm. Even though I can visualize a form for the Father, I have difficulty visualizing the Trinity, three distinct spiritual beings in one.

I can't even fathom it. The only thing that comes to mind is blinding white light that doesn't hurt to look at that slightly resembles a man sitting on a throne with a golden crown and a loud booming voice that doesn't hurt your ears.

God the father to me looks in appearance
( I had dream of god the father , Christ , and the holy spirit , what it meant, I don't know.) But here goes !
i was standing under a tent, on the left side of me was Christ. he told me god the the father was coming. Christ disappeared. god was walking up the a dusty road. he came walking towards me.
He was very tall. 6'7" at least.
he had long hair, straight down to his shoulders. his face was clean shave. he wore a white robe, long sleeves,and the robe reached almost to the ground. his feet wore sandals. his toes showing in the sandals.
I was very scared as god came towards me. I was shaking like a leaf. I fell to the ground to my knees. bowing my head to the dusty ground and my arms in front of me. God bent over me with a smile picked me up with his hands, said " Don't be afraid, I love you ". i had notice how he was walking down the dusty road, swagging arms moving back and forth. i thought to my self " you think he owns the place" !! my realization was , he does !!! THIS IS HIS FORM, THIS IS HIS GENDER, AND A MAN. but this is god to me.

I am Pagan, so I see the God and the Godess. I see them in my children, when they sleep, I see them in my children when they are awake.

I see them in the love in my husbands eyes, as he plays with our children, and when he looks at me.

I see them in the beauty of a sunrise, and sunset, in a crisp winter afternoon, or a warm summer night.

My Gods take many forms, and it is present all around me.

God to me looks like he has brown long hair that reaches his shoulders. Blue dazzling eyes that shine in the sun. And a smile you cant beat. - Its the best thing you could ask for -
