He was contemplating killing his uncle. But his uncle was at prayer so if Macbeth did the deed then, his uncle (the murderer) would go to heaven (having just confessed his sins) while Macbeth's father was in purgatory (since he was unable to confess his sins before death). Macbeth thought this would be unjust so he stayed his hand and killed his uncle later.

it seems to me theyre talking about an assasination....and wether it was successful ot not...i dont think it was.

i think he was hoping for someones assassination.

my vocab definitely isnt that good, and i sure as hell couldnt turn a phrase like that.
