Maybe she just wanted to know if you were there or something. Some girls just like to call to hear you say hello, and then that's it. Next time this is a prblem, why don't you try to say something like what she's doing or something. Ask her things you don't know about her. These are some good times to learn new things about someone even if you don't really care, you'll at least know.

she probably does like you and wanted to call you but didnt have anything to talk about. and was afraid to tell you that she liked you. if you like her, then start a conversation with her. if not then make an excuse to get off the phone...but dont like diss her or hurt her feelings...
(i know that stupid feeling...it happens to me when some1 IMs me but has nothing to talk about....ihateit.)

she calls because she wants to talk to you she just may be too shy to tell you how she feels. Calling is def a positive sign. So, take the authority to open up which will open her up. Good Luck and be a gentleman.

that happens a lot with me. it doesn't mean she's boring or she doesn't like you or anything. why don't you call her, and start talking about something interesting, like what you had for dinner or some gossip. you can talk about food for ever. did you see a good movie lately? talk about that. its another endless funny conversation

There is no rhyme or reason to it buddy. Just start watching tv or something, and wait it out. It happens to me too, and I have just come accept it. Then they wonder why you dont call them.
