I have a '96 Ford Escort LX and has about 96,000 miles on it. Just recently, I had put my car into park and after 5 minutes the car would begin to have "Seizures". I don't know how to describe it but it seems as the car would be fine for 2 seconds and after that, the next 2 seconds it would seem as though it was dying. As if the car was taking its last breaths. And then when I would hit the accelorator it would be fine again. What is up with my car? And what can I do to fix it?

it depends... if you put some stuff in your car to clean it, it could have had a bad reaction..check the engine make sure it has enough fluid... i would go get the car checked out...

It sounds as though your fuel lines or intake could be clogged. You can try to run a fuel additive through it to clean it out. You can pick one up at any auto parts store and most gas stations. If you have an Advance Auto nearby, take it there. They usually have trained staff who can help you find the exact problem and fix it.

Why is this in Singles & Dating? I know 0 about cars. Isn't there an automotive section on here? Might get better answers in that category.
