Your hair can break off by wearing a hat for long periods of time, but I doubt if it could make your hair stop growing or do any long term damage.

No, unless you are wearing wet super glue on the inside of it before you put it on, or tighten it really tight all day every day and cause major friction 12 hours a day each time you put it on. At least that's my theory.

yes i believe it does. I had an ex who ALWAYS wore a hat and it actually made his hair start thinning ect.
