That depends... what can I be minister of? Or Captain of? Or lieutenant of? Or ensign of? Or chauffer of? Or call-girl of?

Oh, oh, wait... I'm not religious. I don't need a reward for my every action. Silly me!

I can tell you this: I have found that having faith in humanity will often make you see the positive rather than the negative. I can't believe there isn't a TV channel celebrating good news (and I don't mean an hour-long reality show on millionaires), progression, compassion, joy, charity... A channel that gives everyone the opportunity to see the incredible difference a single person's generosity and love can make on the universe at large. There are so many wonderful people out there. There's a damn good showing on here, in fact.

What else? I have found that there are many paths on our journey and often when someone loses hope on theirs he or she will eventually find a better one, or if unable to, someone will come along and help him or her - it's a matter of perspective and a willingness to let go and let others when the need arises, and offer the same in return. I know this because someone wonderful did it for me when I was completely lost. I don't mean telling anyone that God will come to him if he would just believe (although, scarily, that works incredibly well for some - a life saved (not in the religious way), some brain particles and a sense of logic lost. It's a fair trade for those who absolutely need something and cannot find it elsewhere; it's just a shame that some Daddy-figure who contributed nothing should get the ultimate thanks. Then, of course I can see where the threat of hell might just be the final push for those already teetering on the brink and I have witnessed how wasted a life waiting for its end reward can be. For this reason and others I cannot see world peace actually becoming a reality because such a ton of foolishness and animosity gets passed along generation to generation, but I can imagine it and that is often enough. It can be found all across the world, though, if everyone just opens their eyes and is willing to see it. Prejudice, fear - and the hatred that too often comes from both - have blinded people. To forget the flip side of the coin makes everything so much worse. I can also tell you from experience that if you cannot find true love, it will find you. Again, just be open to receiving it.

Oh, and I can tell you that the secret recipe for Coca Cola, code-named "Merchandise 7X" is kept under lock and key in a vault in the SunTrust Bank Building in Atlanta, Georgia, the home of Coke inventor Dr. John S. Pemberton and current world headquarters of Coca Cola International. I think Pepsi has already broken in. I can also give you a great meatball recipe, although you'd have to e-mail me because it would take up way too much space. EVERYONE needs a good meatball recipe!

*You're welcome, Mayor! =)

Well, heard a sermon that changed my way of thinking a bit.
A woman in South Africa had her son and husband taken from her by the same man, a white police officer. He cruelly murdered both (beat the son; beat and burned the husband). When brought to court the woman was present. She spoke to the man directly saying that "if God forgives so shall I forgive you". She went as far as to ask him to VISIT her from time to time since she had no family and would like him to act as her son! The man feinted then and there while the courtroom began to sing Amazing Grace.
That taught me that to forgive really is divine. Grace undeserved should be given to those who hurt us. Retribution is not the answer.

I am a being, unlimited by nature, born into flesh, space and time to materialize that nature as best I can. I create my life, and my point of power is in the present. There is incredible power within my own being and I am learning how to recognize and use it. Everything I need to know about my self, my life, my challenges and problems are within me.

-----This also applies to you and everybody
else.

My dad always told me to never settle for less than what you really want in life. You will only end up feeling unfulfilled.

He also said that hard work is rewarded, respect will be given to you when you show respect to others, and measure twice, cut once.

All words that have served me well. I still miss you, dad.

Life lessons? Why, my dear child, I can teach you the very meaning of life itself! That is, try and be nice to people, avoid eating fat, read a good book every now and then, get some walking in, and try and live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations

You're welcome.

You have to worry a LOT more abou who you are other than worrying about what people think you are.

Character is much better than simple reputation.

That brings happiness.

and also that no matter how much long you live with someone, you´ll never know this person fully. And you´ll never do yourself.

Don't deny or see weakness in the mistakes you've made, as you definitely learn more from the bad in life than the good.
