you should sign up as a direct affiliate for companies. get the whole profit instead of paying for a third party.

check out any online business-most have affiliate programs - choose several to try and see which ones perform/pay the best.

but make sure that the products are complimentary to your website-otherwise the offer doesn't make sense to your audience
