Ilived in Organ in 1981 then moved and never received income tax check. how do i go about getting my check

You can call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040, its doubtful that they will have record of a refund check going back that far, but you can call to find out

Federal checks are negotiable for only a couple of years. If the check was issued to you and not returned, you are probably out of luck.
File Form 3911 and see what happens.

IRS HAS COPIES ON FILE IT IS REALLY EASY AND YOU WILL GET THEM WITHIN A MONTH
