Sorry but you cannot give blood for a year after getting it.
Same as any piercings.
I guess it's because you can stds and other diseases off the needles and if you have it then you're giving it to someone else through your blood.
Diseases are usually found within the year so after a year is said to be the okay time.

it depends on what state you live in. you are not banned from giving blood forever but some states do have time limits ranging from 6 months to 18 months. the best thing to do is check with your local blood bank.

No hun unfortunately you cannot. But its weird cause you can give blood after getting a piercing. You have to wait at least ONE year they say after getting a tat.

apparently not, i was a bit miffed when i found this out cos i wanted to give blood, i think its something to do with ink in the blood.

yes you can they just prefer that you wait at least 6 months before doing so as a precaution. they are still paranoid about blood born STDs. hiv and what not.

you cant for a year. well you can give blood but you cant let them use it, so it is kind of pointless. somepeople are allergic to ink so they wont accept it. and you may have some bacteria in your blood.

yes as long as the ink isn't in your blood then your good.but if it is in your blood you are not able.
