Candelabras every where all candle light. you can also add tea lights inside those mini pumpkins. It would be really cool if you can get a Bride and groom pumpkin. Check out Micheals before Halloween they carry a line of decorations for Halloween and they have a Halloween village with mini statuettes that would be cool for cake toppers. I think try not to go too spooky Monster and try to stick more to an ambiance that is spooky. The guy who played Freddy Kruger had a Halloween themed wedding and he had a cake decorated with mini skeletons you may be able to google that and find it. I would use more blacks and purples as opposed the regular orange/black/purple color combinations. And of course you need a smoke machine!!

My best friend had a haloween wedding and they had a huge balloon like spider over the dance floor, it was really cool. You can do jack-o-lanterns as your centerpieces, or if you dont want to carve out a bunch of pumkins, you can drill large holes all over them and they can be your centerpieces (thats actually really cool, I saw it on a wedding show once and it was really awesome, especially if you really gut the pumpkins so the skin is very thin, the candle will glow not only through the holes, but the skin will glow a soft orange)
The only thing I would really recommend against is having people dress up. Most people hate the idea of dressing up for parties, let alone a wedding. And if you make this a requirement you run a great risk of people ignoring it and coming in regual clothes or worse, not coming at all.
Good luck!

Have a costume party!! That would be so wonderful! But center it around a theme- say like vegas, or the 70's, something fun and funky. If your guests arent the type to dress up and have fun though- they may be a bit against all the fun and games. (i personally would dress up though- fun to break away from the norm of wedding blahs...lol)
Decorate with the normal halloween decor, and have the invites shaped like pumpkins.
just have a huge party- since it is Halloweenie..... we love to party!!!
Have your favors in orange and black boxes with spiders glued to the tops. my idea about food would be to have a large variety of things to eat. At a Halloween party there is usually a large amount of snacking food.
Spiderwebs, black cats, leaves... lots of orange and red and black everywhere....

For floral decorations consider tiny pumpkins carved with little faces. then put the little battery operated 'tea lights' in them. That way you can put the little 'lids' back on and not burn anything. You can also use pumpkins for vases for fall flowers, perhaps include some preserved fall leaves in the arrangements. You can purchase some pretty realistic looking pumpkins at craft stores, they can be carved and when lit, look pretty real. Check the fabric stores, there are specialty laces for Halloween and special fabrics out at that time that would look great in clothes, or table settings. Just a thought.

hell yeah! love the halloween wedding thing. i would have loved to have a halloween wedding...
ok. have the guests come in costume. that is a must! browse the internet for halloween decorations, and take your time. you have a while, and since you aren't looking for a venue, you saved tons of time on that. i wouldn't play games (little weird at a wedding), but there are a ton of songs that you can look at.
good luck.

Lots of candles in orange and black. Cob webs and orange string lights will look spooky and elegant. You can purchase them at any craft store.
