I normally don't do these kind of things, but when I think of the word Wicca, I think misguided. The mainstream Wiccan religion, sometimes spear headed by the hack Silver Raven Wolf, is a misguided and rather hypocritical sect of the religion. A cursory search on the origins of Wicca will lead to a less than magical beginning with Gardner being the progenator. Most of the rituals are based either on Golden Dawn or Thelma practices. In fact, the Rede is almost a complete rip from Aliester Crowley's Book of the Law. Hardcore Wiccans who understand their origins are tolerable and fun to hang out with. This fluffy bunny virus trend amongst mainstream angst ridden emo children irritates me greatly.

Well, I never heard that word too much before I started to be involved with Yahoo R & S. The word "Witch" comes to mind at first.

Keep in mind that I am not educated AT ALL on the Wicca beliefs. I think because both words start with a "W" is why I have that word correlation.

First thing - kids that are wanting to say that they believe in something that they know will have a 'shock' effect upon others.

Not even a word from long ago that someone in witchcraft used (started being used around 1954).

Those that I know that claim to be into witchcraft don't use the word.
