Of course they do. They are very smart, very trustful of you, pretty and good listeners too.

Of course. Just today when I had to bring my cat in the car to go the groomers she was so scared she peed all over my husband who was carrying her out the door. While in the car, she hid her face as deep as she could go in my armpit. While at the groomer, she gave us a look that could kill. She was mad.
At night, when she feels cuddly and I pet her, she purrs. That tells me she's feeling happy and safe.
When she attacks a leg as an unsuspecting person walks by, or chases the reflection for a moving watch on the wall, she's feeling playful
When no one can find her no matter how hard they try, I know she's hiding, and feels like being left alone. Sometimes she hides for a long time and my other cat gets lonely and only wants her, so he meows loudly all over the place until he finds her.
She feels strongly that I shouldn't bring any dogs into the house, that the lazy-boy belongs to her, and that her food dish should be filled before I do anything else in the morning.
Cats definitely have feelings. You don't have to spend much time with one to notice them.

Yes, they do. Cats get scared and lonely just like any other animal. They have lots of feelings such as the female loves and protects her young, IF they are raised together they will mour a loved ones death and even look for the other litter mate.

Yes. One of my cats was very upset when my oldest son moved out. The cat sat in my son's old room for days looking very depressed.

Depends on what you mean by feelings. They aren't human so they certainly don't feel guilt. But they can feel happy, especially when fed and petted. They can feel annoyance, especially when they get a bath or get brushed, if they have knots. But deep feelings, no. They aren't all that smart, and have brains the size of a lima bean. They are lucky to remember who they are. I'm not being mean about this,, just honest, as I've had cats all my life.

let me pet and ask her.............she mewed, stretched, rubbed back, I think she said yes. Cats are known to express their feelings of abandoment, confusion, or protesting a change in their enviroment, by peeing or pooping in inappropriate places (dogs too). I wish they could express their feelings in a more humanly appropriate way. When I moved from my parents my longtime cat seemed to be depressed, refusing food, and totally unenergetic. I took her to my new place, then back to my parents and showered her with atttention, she was fine after that.

The answer to your question is debated all over the world. Studies have been conducted and proved that animals do feel certain emotions such as happiness, sadness, and anger but that they don't feel secondary emotions such as jealousy. It's up to you to decide- I am a firm believer that they do.

Yes, cats have feelings. They jump when they're scared. They hiss when they are mad. They purr when they are happy.

Absolutely. They can feel happy, content, peaceful. They can feel lonely, anger, depression and grief. They can feel stressed, anxious, bored, afraid, excited, irritated, and concerned. They can love and feel that they are loved.
