Okay, as bad as this might sound, I'm going to be honest with you. She can't love you both, and if she has doubts about you and even considers someone else for a second, then she doesn't love you. You deserve someone who feels about you the way you feel about them. Why would you let her consider you only an option when you see her as a priority? I think that as hard as it might seem right now, you should leave her and find someone who deserves you. If you won't even consider leaving her, then I guess what you did was the best option, but I really think you need to give this some thought. There's other fish in the sea, and some of them will care about you the way you care about them. Good luck. I hope everything works out for you.

I'm sorry that you have to go through this. It seems as though she has no respect for your relationship with her if she is even thinking about doing this. Wake up. She is keeping you waiting in the wings just in case this ex of hers doesn't change and she doesn't like what she sees. Come on man. She says she loves both of you?!?! I don't think so. For me, love isn't that easy to just throw around. You need to be a little bit more assertive with her. That could also be part of the problem. Don't always sit back and let things happen. Maybe she needs to know that you have an input in your relationship and that you are passionate about not losing her. Don't worry about saying the wrong things to her or something that you think will make her angry towards you. If it's on your mind then let it be heard. At least you can always say you were fully honest. Obviously, for her to come to this point means that she isn't entirely over him and it isn't fair to you. You deserve better and someone who can give you the respect you deserve. After all is said and done, if she can't see how much this affects you, then kick her to the curb and forget the drama.

if she wants to go see him then she doesn't want to see you, many of MY friends say you can be in love with 2 people at the same time but i didn't agree, she must choose.
she is confused, you need to have a talk with her. sit her down and tell her how you feel about the relationship, where you think it will go and if she really wants to be with a guy that cheated on her.
if she chooses the cheater then she doesn't love you and she is worth nothing to you.

You should have told her if she goes that you are through, she shouldn't do that if she truly loves you she would not have to go see her ex to see if he changed she is playing games with you and you can find someone else that isn't like that.

You did the right thing, and should be proud of yourself. Don't worry, I think she'll come around.
