we have been in this relationship for 5 years. Recently found out that my boyfrd had made a lot of female chat frds, calls them and at times has phone sex with them. He doesn't meet them but you never know. I had caught him doing this before and he promised me he will never do it again. But he did it again and again. he defends himself by saying that he gets bored of the relationship and he knows this is wrong and he should abandon it. I am really devasted. What should I do. I still love him but I am very very insecure now.

i know this sounds harsh but you need to leave. the more you stay with him & accept his explanations, the more he will continue to do it. if he's like this after 5ys, this means he's not growing into someone who you should marry. what future can you have when he cheats. and it is cheating, even if he doesn't meet these girls & to be honest i'm sure he's met someone. noone has phone sex that much w/o doing something physical at some point.
move on...good luck. don't think about the past, think only of your future, a better future without him in it.

You should do what any other girl would do and leave him immediately. 5 years?? Wow, you should've quit him a long time ago if he's done this before. A question for you though - is there something you're not doing to satisfy him that makes him stray like this? That could be a reason if so.
