Most people have dry split-ended hair because they straighten their hair incorrectly. If you have hair like that, you should probably use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. A good brand is Pantene--as well as Suave, Herbal Essences, and Vive Pro. You can find cheap but helpful shampoos at local drugstores like CVS Pharmacy (formerly Savon Drugs). Also, when you blow-dry or straighten your hair, don't keep the heat on one part of your hair for more than 10 to 20 seconds. It's sure to split-end it. If you do have split ends, squeeze a dot of lotion, olive oil, or baby oil onto your hands that's about the size of your pinky nail and rub it into your ends (not your roots!) AFTER the heat. It'll help.

As for frizzy hair--there's this product called Frizz-Ease that's out. It's a sort of spray. I've tried it only once, but it worked well too!

Good luck with your hair!

not sure about longer hair, but to get rid of the dryness, the easiest, and cheapest way is to smear mayonaise all thru hair, including scalp, and then put a plastic bag on your head and clip to seal for about an hour, then shampoo out, and condition. This is kind of smelly but it does work, my hairstylist even approves of this. Give it a try, you will be amazed.

buy a conditioner for dry/damaged hair... OR

avon sells revitalizing products like this too for your hair - a shampoo type product but you leave it in your hair for 10 minutes in a hot shower and the humidity is supposed to make it work better

I use Biosilk Silk Therapy Treatment. It repairs split ends, protects against UV rays, and makes your hair shiny and silky. A good conditioner could do wonders for dry hair, as well.

Buy a super absorbant hair towel. They sell them at Sephoras.
