Bill Weise went to hell and wrote about his experience in his book, 23 Minutes in Hell. You can hear or see his testimony on SpiritLessons.com.
I would not want anybody to spend one second in Hell. The good news is that the ticket to heaven is free. One do not have to earn it.
It is not a "religious" experience that will save you, but a relationship with Jesus. And it is free.
Jesus said that He was the only way to Heaven. Asking Him to forgive you of your sins and asking Him to live in your heart is the only way. It is as easy as typing this sentence, yet millions of people complicate it by trying to make the experience more than it is.

1 - I do not believe in a litteral hell. However I am not a christian.
2 - Hell is in the center of the world? Bullocks, the world would A - Collapse upon itself, or B - Your devils would run amok upon the earth.
3 - Hell is a state of being - When all goes wrong - You don't have to be Christian to buy into this claim.
4 - one of those passages support a litteral Hell.
5 - The Bible/Quran/Torah etc are myths - ment to help people manage their lives - Maybe there was a Jesus - But he would not have been the messiah, as there isnt one.
6 - "Don’t let worldly clergy fool you there is not a literal You can’t evolution and Purgatory Hell away. I would not bank on hell not being there when you die if I were you."
-----Uhhhhh....WHAT?! Check your word placement, as that sentance makes no sense.

Hell for me in my imperfect theological thinking would be like; missing the only way out of New Orleans when the hurricane came. I would panic and realize; Why didn't I believe in the warnings? Why didn't I prepare for a disaster? How come I chose to surround myself with wealth and not leave it behind? How come I didn't walk away from the coast? What do I do now? Where do I go? Help me? Does anyone know I'm suffering? Hello!! God where are you in this mess?
Away from God in a type of Hell molten or otherwise, I think that I would replay that over and over in my mind in a dark abyss with no chance for correcting my actions. I think I would personally burn with fear, darkness, distress, depression, anger, hatred, and a myrad of other mind fears. My body would tingle and burn and be electrified in fear!!
What is your personal belief? Hot coals are sometimes walked on by some people. But if they picture and think and fear about the fire and burns, they regain fear and blister.
So again I would say don't miss the boat of help sent by God to get you out of your personal mind's picture of New Orleans or your picture of a core below the mantel of earth that will fry you forever.
When you come back from the dead; Let me know if you are burnt from lava or have a burning sensation. Inquiring minds want to know. If you make it let me also know what Paradise is like. I'll bet I couldn't understand it anyway. Blessings

Yes, there is a hell. Those that say hell is a myth can
say whatever they want to but that does not change
reality. I'm so afraid they will find that out when they
pass from this earth (and we all will sooner or later).
Look at the magma from volcanoes....it certainly is
red hot. We do not know more than our Creator,
believe it or not. He wrote the Bible so we'd know how
we got here and what will happen up to the end, and
how it all ends. So far, it has all happened just as it is
written. The Creator still lives and will come back as
the Judge of us all. Be ready my friends. He's real.

Gosh, it's so cute when you people try to use science!
"Molten Lava is not cool to the touch. Any 3rd grader knows that the Earth’s Core is hot. The Earth’s core would be about 100,000 degrees Celsius = 180,032 degree Fahrenheit. That should qualify as a Hell don’t you think. Need it get any hotter down there?"
Science would also tell us that there are NO PEOPLE LIVING IN THE CENTER OF THE EARTH.
Please, leave science alone. It's not your people's strong suit.

Because the core of the earth is hot, hell exists?
Sorry, but that does not make sense to me. Stars are hot, Mars is hot at the core, and Mercury is scorched.
Try this logic......People saw hot stuff erupt from beneath the surface of the earth. They then made up a place where everything was as hot as the lava. They called the place "Hell."

There's a hell alright. Every time some poor, downtrodden person or families lights, water, heat are turned off. When they don't have any food to eat and all these horrors can be attributed to rich people being so greedy they squeeze the life out of them, they are living in hell.
Oh yeah baby, there's a hell for sure, right here on Earth and it's controlled by the Devils minions.

This gets asked here so much I've started praying about what it really is. Jesus said they would be cast into outer darkness where there was gnashing of teeth. I really believe this mean that when man dies he is confronted by God. At that point man learns the truth about God. All misconceptions are destoyed. If man(or woman) did not accept God in life they are sent away from His presence, never to be allowed to return.
Eternal separation from God, knowing the truth about God and His love, knowing what it is you're never going to have access to again, now, that would be true hell.

Have you ever considered those verses to be metaphorical? Another way to view hell is eternal separation from God. That does not mean we will be cast into the "lake of fire." Think what you want to think about hell whether it exists or not, regardless if someone comes up with a good worthwile point, you won't appreciate it and you'll fight it to the end because you're stuck in your ways and there is no room for change. Oh by the way, stop with the scare tactics.

The fact that there is a hell and all who refuses to accept Christ is heading in that direction has absolutely nothing to do with God's love for us. The sooner people understand that the better decisions they can begin to make. Now lucky for me, I could care less about thumbs down here. There is a hell and many are laughing now but will be crying there later, end of story.
