First of all, call all the local animal shelters and describe your cat to them, maybe someone found it and brought it there, ACT FAST!
Also call local vets offices, sometimes people bring lost cats totheir vets (I never understood why...but they do!)
Also make posters with a description of your cat and preferably a picture AND your phone number, and post it all around the neighbourhood!
Ask all the kids in the neighbourhood to look for your cat!
And if it all fails, do like I did when I moved and my cat was missing for 2 whole days: KNOCK ON EVERY SINGLE DOOR IN THE NEIGHBOURHOOD PREFERABLY WITH A PICTURE OF YOUR CAT AND ASK ALL THE PEOPLE IF THEY SAW THE CAT!
Good luck and I pray you find your Kitty-cat :)

I can understand what you must be going thru. Put clothes that you have worn out on the porch, so the cat can follow your scent, put up posters with missing cat on it anywhere you can, check again all over the house to see if she's hiding, if all else fails put out a plate in the house of the stinkiest catfood you can find-by now hes pretty hungry. The stinkies catfood works outside, but you have to monitor that some because strays will also smell the smell and want some food.

Your cat might have gotten scared if there was loud noise from the work being done. Cats are generally pretty good at hiding in places that you would never imagine. See if you can coax him out by making feeding time sounds-pouring food into his bowl, shaking a can of treats, or whatever you do that usually makes him run to you. If he did get outside, he will probably stay hidden until nighttime. If he's not found by the time you go to bed, put a little food outside just in case.

Does your cat know your uncle? If not, the cat was probably spooked and is hiding somewhere inside or outside the house. If he has been an indoor cat, most likely he is hiding somehwere close by if he did manage to escape. He'll come back eventually when he gets hungry.

the only thing that I can think of is a pet detective...it sounds a bit silly but I've heard of many success stories including cats...the pet detective has a hound dog and the dog sniffs something that the cat's scent is on and sometimes they find the pet within 15 minutes..I know how you feel my cat Blacky was missing for 3 days but she came back after all that time and hopefully your cat will find their way back too..good luck

Give it a chance. I had two of my cats get out a screen window once and I was terrified. They had never been out and one needed daily medication. I found one within hours and the other came back in the window 24 hours later. I left it open for him. I put his food outside and a blanket of his so he could smell it and every couple hours called his name so he could hear me. Don't give up just yet.

Try going outside tonight as it starts to get dark and call for him. Walk close to people's garages and houses, in case he is stuck inside.
If you don't find him right away, make up "Lost" posters and plaster your neighborhood including shopping centers and the local vet. Add "needs medication" to your posters to discourage anyone from keeping him.
Talk to your neighbors and have them keep an eye out.
Good luck to you and your kitty. My cat was missing for 9 months before she came home, so don't give up hope.
I hope this helps. :)

Oh no. I really hope your cat comes back. Maybe if you wait a while, he might come back. There's always the 'Lost Cat' sign option.
