"There are three main kinds of Christians.

Cold- You accepted Christ's Sacrifice and are saved and you wave him goodbye till you need heaven.

Lukewarm- You have one foot in earth and the other at heavens door.

Hot- You follow to fit his footsteps you are imitators of Christ."

What are the three kinds of christians? None.

There is only 1 kind of christianity.

What's the difference between a sheep and goat? How can you separate the sheep from the goats.

God uses the goat to symbolize evil in numerous instances in the Bible. He says He will punish the goats. No matter how or in what direction he tried to move the goat, it resisted. Same in religion.

It is written,

"Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth." James 3:13-14

There are the Eastern Orthodox, Roman Catholic, and Protestant denominational divisions within Christianity. Now, of the three, the Protestant sect has the most divisions, with countless denominations within it that believe slightly different things about God from each other, but centre on the belief of salvation. I don't know much about the Orthodox tradition, so I cannot comment on it. Roman Catholicism centres on the belief that the Pope, who is currently Benedict XVI (damn Roman numerals!) aka Joseph Ratzinger, is the head of the Church, which the Protestants deny by saying that Christ is the head of the Church. Those are the three sects of Christianity: Eastern Orthodox, Roman Catholic, and Protestant.

Rev 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

CHRISTIANS: Hot or on fire for God
SINNERS: cold and don't care about God
HYPOCRITES:one who puts on a mask and feigns himself to be what he is not; a dissembler in religion. Our Lord severely rebuked the scribes and Pharisees for their hypocrisy ( Mat 6:2,5,16). "The hypocrite's hope shall perish" ( Job 8:13). The Hebrew word here rendered "hypocrite" rather means the "godless" or "profane," as it is rendered in Jer 23:11, i.e., polluted with crimes.
Pro 11:9 An hypocrite with [his] mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.

Roman Catholic, Eastern/Greek Orthodox, and Protestant are the three basic categories. There are more than three. Off the top of my head: Lutheran, Methodist, Episcopal.

There are lots of different ways to categorize them.

There are Catholics and Protestants, and possibly Orthodox.

There are many denominations among these. Too, the LDS aren'te included in any of the above.

Not sure what you really mean by the question though.

1st -- those who believe in the Traditions over the Bible (Catholics, Orthodox, Anglicans, etc)

2nd -- those who believe in New Testament over Old Testament (mostly Protestants)

3rd -- those "keep the commandments of God, and hold the testimony of Jesus" (Rev 12:17).
