A few months back, a girl I liked (I think she had a boyfriend) was at a party I was attending. That night, her friend (who I knew had a boyfriend) asked me if I was single. I told her yes. She smiled. I wonder if the friend was asking for herself or for girl A because I had gotten signals originally from girl A & not the friend. Lately, (I still talk to both) it seems the friend has been friendlier to me than the girl I like. She's been asking me questions about my interests or background. I'm wondering if it's because she approves of me for her friend(girl A) or if SHE's interested. (Also the first time I met the friend, girl A said 'we' missed you at the last get-together (since I didn't attend), but at the time I only knew one of them.) Any insight?

Why don't you let your intentions be known? Sure would seem like a shortcut through all that.

Truth matters on the girl used to ask lots of questions about guys my girl friend was interested in and gave her the info. But you are saying this was a few months ago if you are still interested in girl 1 ask her out and you will find out they just might think of you as a friend now. sorry couldn't be more helpful
