I think you'll find all the denominations try to help others and not hate. If your looking for a church home I'd suggest you go to several different ones to hear the sermons and request time to talk to the pastors. The leader of a church sets the atmosphere of the church regardless of the denomination, since the basic tenets of Christianity are the same.
The non-denominational church I go to does not attack any other group of Christians and is concerned with the community as a whole. I have been in others that were less tolerant and caring so it's pretty much up to who's leading what you'll find inside the building.

My sister is very tolerant, she is LDS, but not typical, I mean really she has a witch for a sister.
I don't think it is the denomination it is some of the people within each denomination. There are some generally less tolerant, such as the Southern Baptists, but even in their ranks there are tolerant people. What denomination is the 700 club? I would say they are the least tolerant.

The SDA's in my area opened their doors when a natural disaster struck and had hot food, shelters and showers for anybody. They even put the word out on TV that anyone could come for a hot meal and a shower. It was real nice when noone had electricity for over a week this past winter. They also have orginizations that go all over the world just like the red cross, but they don't charge for their help.

In all the church's I have visited over the years, it seems that the Calvary Chapel's seem to really care about people worldwide.
They claim no denomination though. From what I have heard, they love people no matter what they are involved in. I've heard it said they love the sinner, hate the sin.
They seem to just stick to what the Bible says and involve contemporary worship in their services.
Hope this helps.

Unfortunately, each wants its followers to believe that 'theirs' is the only way to believe in God. There is far too much of the our way or the highway attitude in religion. There is no one Christian faith based denomination that is 'kinder' than another, though there are some that are more open minded than others.

I don't think that the person's denomination is the issue if they have a personal relationship with God/Jesus. You will find both good and bad from all denominations. It depends on the individual.

Probably the UCC, as they are the most active in human rights. They have open and affirming congregations, and strive to be a church for all.
Then again, I'm not a Christian, and find greater tolerance in non-Christian denominations.

The Brethren. They are overall amazing people. Theres a Brethren church in my hometown, and many of them go to other countries to volunteer and they raise money to help farmers out in Central American countries. They also are totally non-violent, and dont ever go to war.
Theyre part of the larger Anabaptist movement that started in Germany a long time ago.

They all hate each other to some point, but the least. I would have to say the Lutherans. I have never heard anything really bad about them. I mean they have their views but dont really force them on others like the Baptists.

who cares about denomination, if you love God you'll keep His commands. His praimary command is to love people. Which leads me to know that denomination is man made, but the Kingdom of God is eternally made
