Ok the problem is I only know him for a few months and he mostly invites people that he knows for much longer. But how do I hint to him that I want to be invited without directly telling him to at least know that I did my best to get invited. I really want to be there since the guy is the key to me getting to know girls cause he knows a lot of them.

When it's almost his party, about a week, ask him what he's doing for the weekend. If he tells you about his party, tell him that sounds like fun and you won't be doing anything that weekend... hint hint.

Well do it in a funny way- ask him just out of the blue''so when's your party'' he he,and if he says why just say cos you need to make sure you get his present on time:-) with a smile,and if he says no then just say you are only kidding with him,and just forget about it!!
