I would ask him to show himself not just in front of me but in front of everybody so that all can see him and I don't look crazy.

Well assuming that I'm somehow able to know that it really was God, I would of course share my experience. As for whether I'd share the good news of salvation, that would depend on whether God told me anything about it. I certainly wouldn't keep that information to myself if I had it.

It would not change how I live life, it would just prove to me ok they exist. I would not worship nor become a christian again. I do not need anyone or anything to sanctify my existence. I lead a good life, help others when I can so tell me why even if a deity was real, I would have to get on my knees and worship it.
I would not proselytize.

Which god? you will possibly might desire to % a achieveable one first. the single Christianity describes isn't. The Deist god? i might settle for his existence, i does no longer "serve" him. yet he's not defined as worrying no count if infants are born with ailments or deformities. (See, if a god cares, and is able to doing something approximately it, yet would not - he's a monster. If he won't be able to do something approximately it, he's not the Christian god. neither is he if he would not care. So Christianity defines, at superb, a colossal god - one in straight forward terms to be "served" after cooking thoroughly.)

I am guessing you mean what if your christian god revealed himself to me?
I would be quite conflicted. One I would obviously begin to believe; I would no loner be an atheist. Two I would somehow have to come to an understanding of god; Is he the omnibenevloent god preached by modern christians or the tyrannical genocidal maniac of the bible?

please excuse any and all immature people before and after me for they are all idiots. it really depends on how God would present him/her self. would it be in the form of a man or woman? If so i would most likely pass it off as some person off their meds. if it was a blinding flash of light with some voice i would wonder what was in my cerial that morning. but after much seaching and research of what was in my capt'n crunch, i might look for answers outside of the norm, but until such a day presents its self. i will remain an atheist

This is more for your respondents;
God is about faith not proof.
GOD: "I refuse to prove that I exist because proof denies faith and without faith I am nothing."
If you prove God exists then he would promptly disappear in a puff of logic.
You'd feel all proud and superior and go off and prove that 'black' is 'white' and get killed on the next zebra crossing.
This is speaking in parallels. Look around you and see what it's like living in a Godless world.

Depends.
It depends on how he reveals himself to me and what kind of a god he is. Whatever happens, I would probably tell others about it. I'm quite open about my life.

I would be fascinated and pleased. I give the event a low order of probabilty, but I don't rule it out entirely.
Of course, I also buy the occasional lottery ticket.

I'd spread the word.
I can fit him in tomorrow at 2:45. If he's late, he'll have to reschedule.
