I love a guy....help?

Question

So, I love a guy. I'm only twelve. Please don't say it's just a silly crush, there is no age limit on love. Besides, I've felt this way for him for a few years now. Right now he's a good friend, but I want it to be more than that. I'm not sure if he feels the same way or not.... are there any signs that might say something about his feelings?
And to guys... what in particular makes you like a girl, other than looks?

He's my age. Apparantly someone down there thought I loved a guy older than me. o___O;
And he's more mature than most guys aswell. He's not an idiot, nor does he act like one. That's one of the main reasons I'm attracted to him.

Awe, Well hun, 12 year old boys arent really ready for that stuff, I wouldnt confront him about it, chances are it would scare him :) , You see girls mature faster, 12 year old boys bearly think about love, But he might have a little crush on you, But not love, Because you may THINK you're in love, But even when 16 year olds think they are in love, it isnt usually real, But if you are, I guess you should keep it to yourself, because boys arent ready for love at that age.

Well I know how it feels 2 b in luv cuz im only 15, so I kno exactly wat u goin through. Well I know that it could be a lil bit embarrissing to tell a boi how u feel bout em.But what I would do is give him a hint that ur interested. Like say "u wanna play a truth game"? then if ur friend says yes then ask him ur questions and then ur gonna get the pressure to tell him how u feel. so take this advice and use it, I betta it'll work.and if that doesn't work just give him a hint by dressin cute, make him jealous by goin 2 da mall nd start flirttin wit otha dudes, then hes gonna get so mad he might give u a taste of ur own medicine, walk away, or he might come up 2 u and say" hey grl I've been lookin all over 4 u".if ur friend does this then that'll surely show that hes interested in you.

What makes me like a girl other than looks is personality of course. If you two are friends then you should probably have no problem with it. But then again some guys might like a girl's popularity or how much money they have. Some signs might be looking at you a lot. Choosing to spend time with you than other friends. Or some words that seem like "love" slip out. Maybe him buying you presents is also a sign. Maybe it's best to talk to him first.

your right about the age thing. the best answer i can give you is to be honest about your feelings tell him that you see him more then a friend and that you always have. here are the 2 answers that you'll get from him either he'll tell you that he likes you back or he'll tell you that he only sees you as a friend and if he's a true friend he won't look at you in a different way or act a different way around you but you have to be honest with him. i remember being that young and not telling the guys that i had crushes on and evenually we stopped being friends and drifted apart. just tell him maybe you'll become closer to each other and get together hey give it a shot! be honest!

Do you know truely know him? His likes and dislikes, how he reacts to certain things, you know personal things about him. You need to ask yourself questions like this. If you two haven' t spent one on one time together then how can you call it love. I've known my best friend for 8 years, and I'm begining to like him...ALOT. I'm not going to lie. We did everything together and we talk to each other almost daily. And I still can't say that I love him. Love is sure when you have no doubts. How to tell if he likes you
(and if he's flirting with you in his special own guy-way).

A lot depends on the type of guy and his individual personality.

Shy Guys
These are tough to crack sometimes...
*He'll look at you, until you turn around, then boom, he's looking the other way.
You may 'feel' like he's watching you - but he's hard to catch at it

*He may do something physical - like grab you in a play way, poke you, play with your hair...
(Remember when you were really young and the guy you liked punched you or tackled you?)

*He may be working really hard to pay attention to you, but doesn't quite know how...

*He may ask a friend of yours about you - he'll say it's just for "friend of mine" that wants to know about you.

*He talks to everybody else - but when you're around he turns silent, or chokes up.
You seem to accidentally bump into him a lot of different places.

*He may not say a word to you, but he shows up in the same line, at the same movie, etc.

*He'll give you a little smile from across the room, but if you get near, he won't look up.
Basically - the BIG clue is that his behavior changes when you're around (compared to when he's around his buds or other girls).
DEAD Giveaway - when you talk to him he turns red.
