Its recommended you red meat 2-3 times a week (I can't for the life of me understand why) but its full of Iron. So no you are not jeopardizing your health. Include fish in your diet.
Alternatively you could stop eating it all together and get your Iron from other sources like legumes and mushrooms. :)

Once a week is ok. We have lean red meat 2 times per month, so every other week. Other than that it's chicken, ground turkey or seafood 3-4 times a week and the rest is vegetarian type stuff - pastas, risotto, beans, rices, veggies, whole grains. I think you're doing great!

I know this is a simple answer, but you should have a balenced diet...I personally have not heard any special precautions against red meat...but just have a balenced diet and follow the food pyramid... you should be fine, but if you had any other worries, talk to your doctor for reassurence...they know what they're talking about

red meat is considerd a complete protein but you don't need red meat for complete protein you could use two incomplete proteins to make a complete protein. For example you eat legumes plus grains equals complete protein.

considering how healthy you eat otherwise, why bother, think of the steroids, antibiotics, etc you consume with red meat...i would also go for free-range chickens, or possibly organic. if you get on animal groups you can see what you are consuming..PETA, Friends for Life, etc
