I told my boyfriend that i wouldnt have sex with him until he turned 16. And he was totally ok with that. His 16th birthday is in less than a month, and i still dont know if i want to or not. What to do???

Listen, you both need to be comfortable with having sex. If you're not, then you need to tell him you're not ready, age or no.

You are never obligated to have sex with anyone.
There is no rule written or otherwise that says so.
Just because you were foolish and made a promise or told him you would at 16 doesn't mean you should go for it.
Ultimately it comes down to you should do what YOU know is right.

Why'd you bring it up if you weren't going to be sure, man. I'm just kidding. It's fine if you have doubts and don't anything you don't want to do. If he liked you enough to wait for you the first time then he should this time. Be honest with him. Make sure you don't do it out of pressure, especially if he's your boyfriend. You know what you want to do and what you are comfortable with. Waiting isn't bad.

Tell him you made a mistake and you're too young for sex. Is there anything else you can do to make him happy?
If he likes you and respects you, he'll be cool with it.
It's different if you were 26.

If you're questioning it in any way you're not ready. I can't tell you what to do.. but i can tell you that it's not something you can take back.. You shouldn't feel pressured and it isn't expected out of you. It's your own decision. Make sure it's something you want.

Hey if you feel that you're not ready then tell him that. And if he gets mad and throws a tantrum, then obviously he doesn't care/love you. And if he tells you that having sex will bring you guys closer, please girl, dont fall for that line.

all i can say is tell him that you aren't ready because that is all you can do and if he has a problem with it he is an *** and you dont deserve him but if he is ok with it good for you for finding the right guy good luck:)

well i think its up to the girl..like you, if you don't want to than you don't have to, i asked my gf when i was 16, she said no so i just let it go( act really mad when you say no, hill never ask again)
