would it be smart to pay off my bills with a credit card? help please !!!

well basically im unemployed and have been for a while . what should i do?

It is never smart to pay anything with a credit card. It is even less smart if you have no income. Until you have enough income to pay everything else, I would put credit cards on the bottom of my priority list. Food is first, utilities are second, and housing is third. EVERYTHING else is relatively optional.

That makes no sense to pay off bills with a credit card. You will be paying more because of the added interest rate and you still have to pay the credit card bills on time or your credit score will go down. I really suggest getting a job that pays.

I called my credit card company, asked to speak to a supervisor, and asked them to reduce my interest rate. This has worked for me before. If they won't reduce your rate, then find a reputable card that has a zero interest, (read all the small print), some charge a fee for transferring your balance. Anyway, by getting your interest rates reduced you can pay off the bill sooner.

if you are in debt, then how can you have a good credit rating, if you pay your bills with your credit card you will be in even more debt
