i have many dogs including pits,dobbies, rotties,sheperds,masttiff,boxers and ect. people think they are terrible eating machines none of my dogs have bitten anyone

They have eaten quite a few kids in England,we banned them,do a search if you dont believe me,it happened again a few months ago,little kid was half eaten by two pitbulls.

Well, I think how a pit acts depends on how it was brought up. There are a lot of stupid people out there who buy "mean" dogs like pitbulls because they want to look mean themselves. They probably teach the dogs to be mean and fight so the owners will look "cool" because they have fierce dogs. If you raise a pitbull from a puppy and show it love and teach it to be good, it wont be mean and bite everyone.

The media portrays them as evil dogs, because most people use them for dog fights and assaulting other people.
I have 7 Terriers. Each one ive raised from a puppy. My dogs have huge teeth and i dont keep them on a leash, because i trained them well and i dont need to tie them up. Whenever i go hiking or just plain walking, people run the other way from me, because they think my dogs will maul them. But all it takes is for one person to come near my dog and realize it doesnt have a vicious bone in its body. On the other hand when pitbulls arent near their owner, they become confused and start barking a lot, because they dont feel relaxed.

People think that Pittbulls ect., are dangerous because they usually are trained as guard dogs and they bite. These dogs have really strong teeth and jaws so they just happen to cause more damage then other dogs do. Pitbulls are very kind, loyal dogs, but when it comes to work, they are ready, for your prtection.

It's just a result of the media hype. This is typical....just like bird flu..the media hyped it up so much it had some people freaking out. Not everything you read in the papers, and hear on TV is correct. I've learned this, and now know it for a fact.

Pitbulls are not bad. In fact they are very smart animals and are used in movies alot becuase they are easy to train. Fact is that the animals are only "bad" because of the "bad" people that use them for fighting purposes. These animals are forced to fight, therefore thats what makes them look like bad animals.

because there are so many bad owners out there...they get these dogs and raise them stupidly...i have 6 pit bulls...2 adults..2 teens..2 puppies..all are playful and love other animals..i have cats and rabbits and alot of visitors...people judge the breed and they need to judge the owners...they are like any other dog...they are what you teach/raise them to be...

Because that is their nature. A lot of those dogs are really dangerous, but some, like yours, are trained well, but there is a risk in getting those types of dogs. Many people like those dogs, but they are afraid of them.
