They employ 4000 people in their Houston office alone. What do you want to do - have them fire everyone so they can all mooch off the welfare system?
Its a pure business decision based on the majority of their dealings being in the UAE. Furthermore, they still pay US taxes, so they support welfare mooches as any profitable corporation should. Everything is the same, they just moved their main office location to the UAE. Whats the big deal with you?
As for "treasonous" thoughts on Halliburton, I guess the vast majority of libs should be on death row along with the publishers of the New York Times.

Treasonous......no. Probably save a ton of money in taxes. Besides, KBR is separating from Halliburton anyway. KBR has did government contracts since the Korean War, and were bought out by Halliburton years ago.

Treason is what Jane Fonda did in the Vietnam War. Halliburton is making a sound business choice. Dubai is a clean, new, safe, and well organized city that is world class unlike many of the welfare pits thriving in the USA.

Treasonous? No...
But another company leaving the US do to US policies for subsidizing those that do, yes... what a tragedy that our country is being sold off piece by piece and our industry is given incentives to leave...

If you want business to stay in the US - you need to give them a reason to.
With all of the mindless hatred and unfounded accusations made against the company - can you blame them for leaving?

You're all nuts or ill-informed! Halliburton probably was indicated to make money from this fiasco long before 43 started the joke called a 'war'. Big business is never treasonous - just Republican!! 'Nuff said.
